Mineral Springs Truffiere
Mineral Springs Truffles is located near Daylesford and is a beautiful family owned and run Truffiere set on 15 acres in the picturesque hamlet of Spargo Creek.
The Truffiere is planted with French Oak Trees that are inoculated with the authentic Tuber melanosporum or Perigord Truffle. In 2019, the 2year old trees were planted and have been providing us with much joy as we embark on our truffle cultivation journey, harvesting our first truffles in 2023.
For the past decade we have been interested in fungi, including the health benefits, and the adventure of finding wild fungi and cultivating our own. Autumns are spent basket and mushroom knifes in hand, foraging for wild pine mushrooms in the Daylesford region. While in winter we are truffle hunting.
We sell Truffle Salt and Fresh Black Winter Truffles.
